Research is a fundamental part of academic life, and conducting research can be both exciting and challenging. Choosing the right research topic, finding a supportive mentor, and navigating the research process can be daunting tasks. However, with the right mindset and approach, anyone can overcome these obstacles and excel in their research endeavors. As graduated Ph.D. students, Siyuan and Baoxiong will share their experiences and the research projects they have been working on, offering frontier directions of Computer Vision studies and a deeper look at the life of research and Ph.D.
